Phoebe Morris is a twenty-something year old illustrator from Wellington, best known for her award winning picture book illustrations and scribbly Lion drawings. Her work combines digital and traditional methods across a range of styles. Phoebe has illustrated picture book biographies about Sir Edmund Hillary (First to the Top, 2015), Jean Batten (Sky High, 2017) and Sir Peter Blake (Hero of the Sea 2018) for Penguin NZ. She is also the illustrator of the ‘Frankie Potts’ junior fiction series by Juliet Jacka, and one of nine illustrators of ‘Go Girl’ (2018) by Barbara Else. When she’s not working with clients, Phoebe enjoys watching Bojack Horseman, drawing confused animals, and worrying about climate change.
